"we are heirs of the glorious kingdom.."
-SO MUCH LOVIN' On Saturday,we gave Jem an advanced birthday celebration.Sam,Jem and Zhangie picked me up from my place and we then headed down town to 'shop' for our presents.However,it was unfair shopping because Jem already knew what he wanted.Upon reaching town,he immediately brought us to Hilton to to look for his paul smith wallet.Luckily,the shop was already closed.Haha.Then,selfish Jem decided not to shop anymore and so we just sat around at Macs while waiting for Dennis. That is when Sam and I started photo whoring..haha.
We had our dinner at this steamboat place with a damn long name..The Magic of ChongQing Pot(i think).There was a big variety of food we could choose from but somehow or rather the guys kept ordering BEEF,WANTONS and FISH SLICES.Sam and I being the more adventerous pair helped ourselves to the pig intestines,cockles,liver,abalone mushroom and our favourite tang hoon.Notice Sam and my acquired taste?haha.I love the mantou(fried bread) the most.Its damn yummy.It was so good that i ordered another serving and ate 3/4 of it.I know mantou is really common and you can get it anywhere.But,this is different cos the mantou came with this sauce(which i suspect is condensed milk) that we can dip into.Oh.And I must add that the staff are extremely hospitable.They gave Jem 2 free mantous(substitute for the cake) and put up candles on it and sang him a birthday song.The manager even sang the birthday song in English,Mandarin and Cantonese!Jem was damn embarrassed!
Later we headed to Scarlet hotel for drinks.The place was kinda classy.We took alot of photos there.So,i shall let the pictures do the talking.Check out the chandelier and the huge sofa in the photos,ok?:)
I had the most fun at Mind games cafe where we played Pictionary.It was hilarious because Zhangie kept trying to distract everyone with his nonsense so that he could win.Naturally,the girl's group (Sam,Chong,me) won!!I figured cos Chong is super duper smart and Sam and I are telepathic.I swear Sam and I are able to read each other's minds man!!This is really freaky!haha. I wanna go play Pictionary again.I wanna go techno club again.2 fun Saturdays in a row!!WHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
